Robotics
In the majority of cases, companies that equip themselves with robotic production lines have large volumes which thus make it possible to amortize the cost of the equipment. Programming a production line can take a few days, which is negligible compared to the duration of the production that will follow. This programming is therefore fixed, written in high-level language, the trajectories of the robots are precalculated and then applied. Robotics is therefore a big story; big companies, big series, big profits.
Mov'X offers a new approach to robotics to make it more flexible and therefore more easily amortized, making it useful, competitive and therefore possible for SMEs and VSEs.
The key point is to develop an intuitive robot control and programming interface. Once the robot is mechanically installed, the safety zone assured, the robotic integrator is no longer required to learn new positions and new trajectories. End users will thus be able to change the process themselves to adapt to short production runs.
mov'X develops robots for nuclear dismantling in a limited radioactive context.
Our systems consist of standard medium and large carriers but with extensive integration of video functions for great versatility.
The hardening of the robots consists of retrofitted wiring and remote robot foot electronics in the remote bay. Brushless servo motors use resolvers.
-Traceability of the trajectory of the TCP.
-Operation by external automatons.
-Ability to continuously retrieve the coordinates of the robot and external axes. Application: export of Cartesian coordinates for non-destructive testing (NDT)
-Possibility to dynamically correct automatic robot trajectories by placing a sensor on the production line (for example parts of variable sizes on a conveyor).
-6-dimensional learning of the movement of a worker for faithful reproduction (for example the gesture of greasing a die on a press).
-Possibility of having close points without jerking the robot and thus achieving trajectories other than linear or circular, with the ability to manage extremely low acceleration/deceleration.
-Learning of a trajectory manually and calculation on the fly of the same trajectory at constant speed (for example learning of thermal scanning or paint application).
-New possibility of HMI such as the possibility of multiplying the jogging command to refine the docking or the jogging along an axis or a personalized trajectory (for example to bring out a part badly engaged in a press).
-2D scan of a part with 1D distance sensor to perform 3D modeling of a part then on-the-fly recalculation of the orientation and passage of the robot at a constant distance from the part. (for example scan of a part to perform sanding/polishing/grinding...).
-Tele-operation (e.g. nuclear dismantling, bin removal, etc.), whether using a standardized customer tablet computer, a joystick, a VR controller, a mouse, etc.
-Creation of a multimedia user interface where the points are represented by a photograph of the corresponding position of the robot and where tutorial videos help the operator.
ABB France entrusted the mov'X team with the complete production of its External Guided Motion demonstrator: for this first public presentation of the functionality, an HTC vive virtual reality controller was used to drive the IRB4600 robot intuitively and in six dimensions. A 6-year-old visitor scored her first basket without difficulty!
After this first experience, mov'X continues its development by working on green screen recording with dynamic embedding of background content. Whether it is for screen porting and their animation in augmented reality or the creation of works of art or origami by a robot, our team is attentive to your needs.
Cinema
Mov'X Cinema is the natural convergence of mov'X Robotics and mov'X Vision.
Neo is our synchronized multi-robot system, unique in France.
The interactive and intuitive solutions of mov'X make our motion controls a response adapted to the most atypical needs.

Vision
CNRS laboratories, public and private research organizations have placed their trust in me several times, sometimes leading to publications.
